          If you ask me, “What is your favorite place?”, actually I’ll say,”Balekambang”. Why? Because, in this place, you can enjoy the fresh air because there are some big trees which produce fresh oxygen for your body. And, we can see so many plants, flowers, and some scarce trees there. I guess, if you come there, you’ll fell the different experience, actually better than the others city park.

       Beside of them, you can see so many animals too. Such as, monkeys, deer, snakes, duck, fish, and etcetera in the mini zoo and a little pond. But, we are not allowed to give them food. It can be make some risk of their life.

     There, we can enjoy the fresh air, to relax after a busy day, a crowded street, and maybe after work done outside of normal working hours. Or, we can socialization with the others. Or, just for recreation for a weekend or holiday.

        In this place, there is a small lake. By the myth, the lake was a poll for the Surakarta Hadiningrat king or queen. But now, we can’t swim there. Because it’s too danger. So, as a change, you can play duck boat to take around the pond and seeing some unique fish there.

        If you wanna to try some challenge, Balekambang invites you to try the outbound there. There are flying fox, tire bridge, hanging tire, and many more. 

     The park closed at 18.00. But, in the Saturday night, there is a Javanese culture performance, called Kethoprak. Or sometimes, a traditional ballet form a story called Ramayana. The others events sometimes held there too.

        I think that’s all about my favorite place. If you wanna go there, 08.00 until 17.00 is the best time to enjoy the situation there.
